 My
work deals primarily with the colors and rhythms I see in the
world around me. Nature's palette never ceases to amaze me with
its subtle shifts of hue and value. The rhythm one sees and
experiences when in the woods is also important in my work.
While my representational images
focus on remote places in Ohio, color and rhythm are still
paramount. The watercolor weavings may appear nonobjective at
first glance, but they too are exploring the rhythms and colors
nature provides. My work is an attempt to share with others the
many beautiful and diverse things I see and experience while
traveling the paths and steams less traveled.
