Colorization

This page shows an example of a colorization, which is used to create a multilayered dynamic piece of art.  This method of creating a three dimensional art used an original image with several layers of transparencies, which have digitally airbrushed with landmark features.

The photos to the right show one such image of Niagara Falls.  this image is made up of three layers (actually about 25 layers in the software, but three printed layers).  The pictures illustrate the layers and the final picture is the composite.

When assembled there is 1/4" between each layer and using a special layering technique the photo looks amazing.  I can also print all layers together giving a nice colorized photo effect.

I have added a black layer  to the pictures on the right so that the details of the airbrushing can be seen.
